Because of the current exchange rate, between Aud and Pound, London was stupidly expensive. The Aussie dollar was literally worth less than half of the Pound. It didn't effect beer too much but food, train tickets and accommodation were a huge shock after being in Eastern Europe... Anyway here is the famous London Bridge 10. Took me back to old Blueprint videos.

Southbank is raw and as rad as I had imagined. I think this was Blondy McCoy from Palace having a sesh.

Went back a few days later to check out a Globe demo. Appleyard, Mullen and Barletta chilled about while the young dudes like Decenzo, Paul Hart etc did a stair demo.

Locals are always the best to watch at demos. They go nuts. No comply.

I love shooting photos of photographers. Mike O'Meally was a fun target. He got kinda freaked out then laughed.

Food, alcohol and accommodation are all cheap to reasonable. There are 24 hour bars, cafes and food stores everywhere (where everyone speaks English if your Deutsche isn't up to scrap) so you can pile out pretty easy.

You defiantly want to get yourself a bike though... public transport isn't cheap and a lot of the roads and footpaths are rough for skating. Just watch out when riding as you might hit one of the thousand Australian/English youths who vecome to Berlin to "find them self".

First stop was the Globe demo at the Club Der Visionaere kinked ledges. Local homie throwing an ollie out and over the bin.

Started getting the feeling Mike was stalking me....

Then like a scene out of The Warriors the Nike team showed up. Janoski was leading his young flow minions Oski, Darkness, Hjalte etc on the attack to prove who was the top shoe brand in town.

But no one won because Janoski was wearing a fucking fedora and globe shoes are globe shoes...

There were tons of rad events on over the week. I missed some really big ones but enjoyed this local comp down at the Volcano Park. BS 360 g.

Free beeeerrrrrrrrr.

We pretty much had a case to ourselves. I had to force them onto strangers walking past the park there were so many.

Free food. Chillie Con Carn or a vege version. Cooked by the locals.

Mango Millic showed up. Was super entertaining to watch skate.

This photo looks stupid and does the trick no justice but this was Ville Wester doing an ollie up to no comply off. It flowed all in one motion and looked so sick. He ended up winning the best trick by doing a kickflip up to no comply off.

Volcano comps. Nuff said.

The fire guy nearly burnt so many of the skaters. It was hilarious. These guys are trying there arses off to win the cash and if that wasn't hard enough some guy is spitting fire at them. Comps are boring but add fire and beer and they are great.
