Headed down to the Nike AM Berlin comp. Only wanted to see the fox track races! Fernando going hard.

Plenty of gnarly stacks. Skulling a beer before your run seemed pretty mandatory.

The Berlin Skate Halle has a bar and a club in it's shared area. So you didn't have to move far for the after party.

Feeling the vibes.

Couple days later we decided to go for a bike ride to a close by abandoned airfield called Templehof. As we were riding along I heard some words come over a microphone far in the distance.

"I swear that sounded like Tim O'Connor saying switch tailslide...????". Ditched the original chosen path and came across the Adidas Skate Copa Berlin heat. Random.

It is always nice to find a park this fun 5 mins from your house.

The man himself. I guess he will be down at the Aus Skate Copa that is coming up. Pretty hilarious on the mic.

There were kickflips and cockflops. Here is the kickflip. I didn't get a photo of the cockflop but use your imagination of a naked hairy dude olling the bump to bar naked.

Got sick of watching skating. Jumped back on the bikes and rode 10 minutes down a back track.

To my other local park. Hassenheide. Such a well designed park. Aussie park designers take note!

Even has a vert wall that seems to be a Berlin Wall Replica.

There is endless possibilities to how creative you can be at this park.

Templehof Feld, the abandoned airport with the skatepark, has to be one of the best places to chill out.

One of the BBQ missions with our German friend who came to visit.

I got a message from a friend that he was in town. He told me about this dope abandoned water theme park nearby and he offered to show me around it. Another one of those unexplainable places.

This thing had so much stuff you could skate. It was full of graffiti and had such a weird range of people. There were families walking around with there kids and on the end of the scale a gang of teenagers who spoke very little English trying to scare people for entrance money.

I don't think it was going so well for them considering some one pointed out he wasn't going be hustled by someone who still had braces...

The guys I met up with were mostly BMXérs and had already shot some photos in here a few months before. Apparently it was a lot cleaner then. They told me that people held raves there.

Caught up with my friends a few days later. Half of them had been camping underneath this miniramp. Ahaha it was pretty rad using the ramp to skate and as a kitchen to cook our breakfast.

I thought it was a joke when the first spot of the day we stopped at was this..... it quickly became apparent that it was no joke and I watched some of the gnarliest shit go down I have ever seen done on a BMX.

This bowl was around the corner. Really good design. One mellow bowl and then a larger one with love seat, pool design end and a cradle. Fun for everyone.

Old mate Will threw out a transfer into the cradle.
