i would have to disagree with the 2 star rating. Yes its pre fab, but fun as! such a good little park - usually has no-one there too!
full of ups and downs. great for riding skateboards on though
Tough Stuff N$ rep, if you live near lane cove park, you must live near enough to me, and i resent you thinking youve been there more than anyone, coz I RECKON I HAVE.- down to business though. Its a fucken wonderful park. Never has anyone there, and is easy to roll around in and just have fun. The hubbas were originally complete piles of shit, but have since had the coping reset etc etc and this has made them far more fun to skate. However, if it has been raining in the past two or three days, i might suggest you take some wax with you, as the coping tends to get a little bit sticky. The same thing goes for the rail. As far as park rails go, this one is a fucken champ. its small enough to allow you to attempt tech shit down it, but still sizeable enough to be challenging. The tranny is sweet. The bigger tranny section is at a size where, similar to the rail, it is challenging enough to have fun on, but not so big that its impossible to skate. The smaller tranny section is great for learning new tricks, as it is really nice and smooth, along with being reasonably mellow. Maybe im biased because i fucken love the park and it is kind of my local, but i really enjoy skating it, and its never packed, so i dont care, youse can all shut up. Note to the kiddy's, plan your day early, because the public transport around the lane cove area is shit. I would suggest getting a train to chatswood and a bus from there, or, if you live on the other side of the tracks, maybe get a bus from epping station. If your driving, just follow the signs to the scout hall, and youll find it. If you see me there, say hello. I'll be the guy puncing on with tough stuff about who owns the park more! id give it a five star rating, but its not my site and i dont decide that shit, so bugger the star rating, just take my word as gospel and GET DOWN THERE
pretty much an altered replica of kincumber. a fun fun fun park to skate i think. though the rail sticks out about 6 inches or so, which is a big deal. the kink sticks out into the transition which means u have to ollie out onto the rail to do tricks on it. that alone takes the rating down at least 1 star, since it is the main feature of the park. the manual pad is low, but is very fun. though it needs more run up. the quarters are fine. the ledges are fun too. i dont see how they are too small to film on. whatever. they are fun. there are some local shops, which ive been to a couple times. the local school is the worst school to skate ive been to, really. theres nothing. its not too hard to find with a map and the street name. it may be unimaginative, but it is simple but effective i think. a very fun park. but u cant skate there for hours and hours. it gets repetetive. i give it 2.5-3/5. rating is down because of the location and some small but somewhat significant problems in the lay out and construction.
i think somethings wrong if the new LC park is rated 2 stars and the old one is rated 3 :|
yeah its cool if u are riding a teck deck
yeah that park it heaps mad
how this got 2 stars where as the shit as old park got 3 is beyond me.this park isnt really that small, and the quarters are great.the rails are pretty gud, and the ground is smooth as!!!
wtf. Y is da shit lane cove skatepark rated 3 stars and the mad one is only 2??! WTF IS WITH THAT
Fun little rail set up. nothing else is really worth a mention...

it looks like the hubba is a tiny bit kinked, but still its fuckin mad
this may be a small park but it is so fun to skate on, the transition is awesome, but that sticky shit all over the rail on the big 1/4,
heaps small
Great little sk8 park, easily spend a couple of hours here. As for some of you, it's not what we would call a "pro's" park but it definatley shreds..
new park is a turd....old park deserved more stars . even chatswood is better.
its a good little park nothin great but its good to try new rails and big 1/4 is good for getting some air
really wouldnt mind having this as my local. Manuel pad seems like it doesnt even fit in the park.
yeh the mani pad is shit, they placed it wrong. and supposidly they were or still are putting a bowl to next to it, but i havnt heard much more about that.
Terrible
its ok but its small
