i thought they actually had a proper skate park there? :S maybe i was just trippin balls but i thought i saw a big one but it was all fenced off and closed down. i did however eat a little piece of cardboard one of the locals said was listerine and after that my time in nimbin was mostly a blur... but the people in the town r all friendly as and im sure they have the money for a better park but i just think they prefer spending it in other ways

okay well just to clear shit this isnt whats there at all there is an amazing metal park look it up on flickr or something for photos and the deal is when it first open it was only open for like a few months or something then they barred it up cause of a noise issu anyway this was a few years ago maybe before 2007 and so in 2008 or something all the skaters helped get the bars off without permission and we skated it all up until about a month ago and now it is completly barred again and apprently we have 1 year to raise funds for sound proofing or theyll scrap it but i dunno whats going on they are kooks at the council
some guy took the metal park to his backyard fuckin rad. and now the councils gonna build a concrete park which should be built by 2011 apparently
