yeh i dont really know what there gonna do just keen too see all the crew again and drink beers. i think they do endorsements for you on like every lift or something, cos usually ur only "endorsed" to operate the lifts on your side of the hill. not sure how it all works at falls though. oh and last season we got to do mad games of laser tag. "team building"... was dope
kind of pissed we didnt see any snow yet with all this rain! too warm!

umm i can only go off what the selwyn one is like. it was easy.
basically they look at your riding ability, up and unweighting, and your teaching ability. how you handle a class, your knowledge of the alpine responisbility code. how much you know about the 9 lesson essentials etc. and the way people learn. like cognitive and all that shit.
basically you gotta be able to teach people to do a skidded turn a j turn a linked turn a garland a skidded traverse. all that basic shit.
also if your giving demos etc it helps to do one above. one beside them and one below them on the hill if you catch my drift.... dont talk to the group with your back to em etc.
they will probly test you on your movement analysis etc. like have people doing certain things wrong and you have to pick up on it and correct them etc.
best to ask the thredbo instructors in this thread about it as they have done it at a bigger resort. selwyns a bit of a joke when itcomes to employment

oh fuck those filthy whores and their pullstringery.... worst support ever. i hate them i had a pair theyd always slip and you couldnt get all the right tighness across to boot. either too tight on toes or too loose on the calf

anyone heard anything good about YES snowboards? had a friend ride one last season in BC said she liked it. might try one out
hey hey scotty whats the flex like on the www? i got a libtech box scratcher and its loose as fuck. imlooking at getting a park board thats a lil bit stiffer. thinkign bout some nitro or k2 boards
scotty!

· 28 May 2010 2:01 PM
yeah the weapons got some nice flex rayner! its rockered in the nose and tail and flat between the bindings, so its different to the lib tech/Gnu banana style... this thing was heaps better in the park than my rome postermania (which had that same banana style reverse camber)...lil things i noticed were that this was heaps more stable at high speeds coming into jumps compared to my rome which got a bit wobbly, the other main thing i noticed is that it locked in heaps better for presses on boxes and rails. their was this one long rail in japan that no matter how hard i tried i could never frontside lipslide the whole way on my rome, always came off about a metre left to go, first day on my k2 it locked in on like the 2nd shot!
the weapon is definitely the flexiest out of the k2 reverse models, but if your on a box scratcher then i think that the weapon would suit...the next up is the parkstar...which is mid flex and meant to be amazing...then the jibpan - which is meant to be fairly stiff for a reverse camber board.
i saw your hoody ron ermal made for u by the way! turned out rad
