what are the bowl demensions.

Don't know what the dimensions are other than the ground levels shown. Forgot to ask for overall dimensions as I was too pissed off that Australand had cut the budget by 300k, hence no snake run as per the original plans.

From memory these were the drafts that everyone got to draw their ideas on in November 2010. The designers were rapt in the ideas skaters came up with.

Know what the budget is now.

yeah, budget WAS around 1 mil. Now it's 700k.
It's been suggested that everyone should front to the meeting to put shit on Australand and tell the council what to do with the design.
The whole idea of accepting the site in the middle of nowhere was so that we'd get a park that we wanted "within 12 months". Well it's been over 15 months and they haven't even started and they've cut the park by 30%. They broke the deal. The agreement was so we'd stop pushing for Wanda.

so what happened at last weeks meeting.

There was about 20 skaters there and the convic guys were good listening to what skaters were saying. So they made a few mods to the drawings to make it all flow better and more interesting.
I reminded the Breens/Australand guy that we were promised a 1 mill park and that they had ripped us off $300K. He was blindsided. So council is going to chase it up. the 300 won't get the snake run but it will greatly expand the street section and maybe the bowl.

i went for a drive last night over around kurnell area and saw this new block of land called "green hills beach"? is that where the parks going to be located, somewhere around there?

when does work start

Haven't got a start date yet but the final design has to be done by Friday 13th April. Locals and Convic are working on it.
Yesterday was the first meeting where an Australand rep and Mr Breen both showed up. They agreed to add extra features in the area where they took out the snake run and ripped out 300k. Also will somehow link the mini to the street section.

Will Todd Carney or Paul Gallen be there? ;)

But to keep things positive, WOOOOO!!!! Hope construction starts soon would be so rad to have a ripping park not to far away!!!!!

UPDATE; Convic are waiting for feedback from Australand and Breens before progressing with the design.
The last draft I saw several changes had been made. The mini was moved to that vacant spot (where they had taken out the snake run) and was now an open bowl with a mini snake run leading to the street area. What was the mini was now flat banks with a jersey, pole jam, bench and volcano, leading into the main street section. The main street area features had been upgraded as well.
